I have been using auto reload. I am unable to toggel the speeds of Torps on the attack (F-6) map am I stuck in this mode when i am in autoload ? Must I switch to manual input mode to use this feature?

I don't think autoload has anything to do with fixed torpedo speeds. If you do not have manual targeting enabled that is a more likely reason for not being able to choose it. (though I never tested this myself)
Be mindful though once you do. There is a bug that does not update the lead angle calculation after selecting torpedo tube with a different speed. It thinks the selected torpedo goes with the speed of the former torpedo. So set the speed selector every time, or set all torpedoes to move at the same speed so there is no difference.

If you are not using the compressed air model torpedo, pattern running or not, you cannot adjust the speed. G7e model 2,3 homing model 4, 5, the speed is fixed and cannot be altered.
