Unused U# numbers

I'm wondering if there are any unused numberings for uboats in SH3, as I will occasionally get a message from myself U-48 which is obviously part of the game

U-48 was the most successful Uboat of WWII and therefore also one of the most famous submarines. This is probably the reasion why it's mentioned in ingame radio messages a lot. If you choose something random like U-71 you probably won't find that name in radio messages that aren't for you.
