I am modding and researching for some modifications of the control room model. Now i am stuck at this design from the vents of the Main Ballast Tanks 1 and 5 at U-995.
http://dubm.de/wp-content/uploads/20...erungU96-2.jpg Question: On older pics of the VIIC type you see there just one vent, the one on the left for MBT 1 or 5. So, can anyone help me explaining this? Was it a change in design or was it specific for the VIIC/41 type (U-995)? On which boats there was only one vent? Thx a lot in advance

U-570 (Type VIIC) had only one vent wheel. See pictures in this link: http://www.uboatarchive.net/U-570/U-570Photographs.htm Maybe this is of help for you too: http://www.uboatarchive.net/Manual/Manual.htm http://www.uboatarchive.net/Diving/D...egulations.htm |
