Has anyone had problems ordering lithium-ion batteries from overseas, mostly China. I have ordered on 3 different occasions from China and never received them. I am wondering if customs from either China or Australia is seizing them, anyone else having problems?

How long have you waited? I have had electronics components for projects take 4-6 weeks due to both customs and slow shipping.
I also believe they can't ship Li batteries by air, so they have to come by boat, so that adds some time. Contact the sellers and getting shipping numbers, you should be able to track the shipments. Demand a refund if they won't. |

![]() The first lot was over 6 months ago, the last item (below) was on the 30th of December, I am still following it up, some of the batteries I can't get in Australia so it makes it hard! ![]() ![]()

That's a serious battery.....
There was a rash of Li batteries catching fire for a while, laptops, phones etc. I forget the exact type, but they may have fallen into the "do not fly" list. |
