Hi, I've enjoyed SH3 since it came out and I've came back to the game for about the 4th time; but one issue I've noticed is that the game does a CTD whenever there's a minefield of substantial size or density (35+ mines per square km). As if this wasn't annoying enough, it also means that some of the GWX-placed minefields turn various ports into no-go zones.
Is there any way to fix this or at least change the campaign file so that the minefields have a minimum density?) I suppose I could use enemy submarines as an alturnative submerged threat, as even though they can't fire torpedos they can at least act as a sonobuoy assuming that their sonar circle (visible on the map) actually does something rather than just being a graphic. Thanks for any advice. SD |
