What GPU for this PC?

Hi everyone!
I'm updating my pc, and i'm thinking to buy a new graphic card (at moment, intel provide integrated 3d engine).
Those are PC's specs:

WINDOWS 10 pro 64 bit S.O.
RAM 8192 Mb
CPU Intel Core i5-6400 @2.70GHz (Quad Core)

(I use an heavy modded GWX3.0, with Conus' SH3GWXWS2.3)

What is, for you, a good graphic card with good performance, total compatibility and medium-low price?

What should i evitate at all? What GPU are incompatible?
