In terms of realism how does this compare to Sub Command?
If it is less realistic can it be modded up to the same level of complexity and realism? Thanks Richard |

Complexity is probably the word most people mean when they actually say realism in reference to this game. This game is not as complex as Sub Command/Dangerous Waters where most of the challenge is in knowing how to work the stations. Cold Waters is much more of a strict captain's simulator. Sonar and TMA are done for you (you can still classify contacts with a narrowband-type display) and I believe Cold Waters is tactically more challenging than Dangerous Waters. It can get hectic real quick in Cold Waters, and not being bogged down with stations (as it really is as a captain) is a good thing.
