Hey guys I play this everyday...love it knowing it's a compact mobile game. My question is how to earn medals. I've sank over a million tons of enemy warships...how do I get a medal? Sure, one bullet works for many but...may God bless all wounded veterns and those that ducked.
No disrespect, sorry...I had the honor of serving briefly on the Queenfish, SSN-651 as a lowlife Torpedoeman's Mate...a rating that no longer exists. Love the game...wish for a working sonar room...and perhaps another awesome meal on the mess deck.

Hey Freaknstein, thanks for your kind words!

Do you have the latest update installed. There was an issue with previous versions where medals did not work properly.

In general, that's what you need:

Every medal counts only for one patrol (Midway - Patrol - Midway).

Navy Cross: 4 freighters
Bronze Star: 2 freighters and 2 tankers
Purple Heart: 2 destroyers and 1 freighter
Navy Commendation: 1 light cruiser, 1 destroyer and 1 freighter
Asiatic Pacific Campain: 1 carrier, 1 freighter and 1 tanker
Combat Insignia: 2 gunboats and 1 destroyer
Legion of Merrit: 2 carrier and 1 troop transport
Medal of Honor: 1 battleship, 2 destroyers and 1 troop transport

You don't get medals post mortem.

Oh I should have several medals!!! LOL ...oh well, still lotsa fun. Another problem I run into is when returning to Midway...they rarely refill my torpedoes. Seldom I have a rogue destroyer that won't stop hunting me and all I have left is my deckgun...won't let me run home so I gotta play chicken with them...works sometimes.

I got the latest update weeks ago.

Well both of these bugs were fixed with the last update v1.1.3. Are you sure you have that one?

Version 1.1.1.93...amazon fire tablet...new since February of last year. Yeah, I'm cheap.

Oh but perhaps I'm doing it wrong...I keep continuing the game with a new boat after dying...and have been since the update...I just got rammed so I'll start over and see what happens.
