sitting in my couch and watching NOAH, when I thought wondering what programs have my friends on subsim-forum have seen today.
The first program I saw was the news-saw it while I ate breakfast. Then I saw some programs about biblical mysteries- it was about the flood, Moses stick, The cloth of Torin. Then I saw or re-saw Avengers 1 once again-Was finished just before dinner time. Saw the afternoon news while I was eating. Then I saw Ishockey from the Danish tournament-and now I'm watching NOAH With Russell Crowe. Markus |

it is 5:07 PM here at my house, and it occurs to me that the TV has not been turned on once yet today. Not even in the children's rooms.

These days I would much rather stick in a DvD than watch TV. The Frau watches a bunch, but she has been out of country for a week and during this week, the TV was not on once.
I wish we could get rid of cable but she likes to watch shows on different channels. Now she is on a zombie kick. Any TV show with zombies she is all over it.

My TV time is usually spent with my sims. Some people watch TV. I man a sub or fly a plane.
When I do watch TV it's usually for a ball game or maybe I'll see if a movie is on. There aren't any shows I follow. Here in America the selection of shows is just awful.

LOL! Well ... there's always "Naked and Afraid."
Really though, my problem with the current shows is that they all seem so bitter. We don't necessarily need more 'happy' shows, we just need some writers who aren't always so cynical and bitter. Jeez...even the sitcoms only have jokes that are more insults than humor. I used to watch "The Big Bang Theory" but, one day, I started wondering why people who talk to each other like that would consider themselves to be friends.

Some mentioned super hero series
Now that I have some of the channel that broadcast one or more of these series, such as Flash, Arrow and Doctor Who, I could have start following one or more of them. I don't I have missed so much of the series so it would be like start watching a movie after about 1 hours running. When I don't watch science program-mostly about space I watch a lots of news and when on air and I have time I watch History program. This comment is an addition to my fist post. Markus |

Oscar Wilde There are some studies that suggest that sarcasm promotes critical and creative thinking since both the person making the making the comment and the person receiving the comment must sift through the difference between the "literal" and "real" meaning of the sarcastic comment. The studies also find that sarcasm is most beneficial when used between people who trust each other (ie; friends & family), and, as with everything else in life, moderation in its use is key. |
