silent hunter 5 questions for users

I bought silent hunter 5 and when I bought it I read something in it I found disturbing.

after the install it told me I had to create a u-play account to play the game I was like ok fine but there was a catch.

if I read the tos right it said I had to let them monitor my pc I wonder how many of you when you first install it got the same message?

but now I don't get the message and I reinstalled it

did they give up on that idea ?

and if the game is a german sub war why do they have Washington news?
I would think that they would use the news from berlin or the same news you hear on the movie Das Boot.

are the locations has more detail and not fragmented like in 3 and 4

and do they have destroyable buildings?
