Default They will not be allowed to drive in New Jersey

Maybe there's a reason behind this upcoming law

It's about time, they drive way too slow, constantly make sudden lane changes, never use a turn signal. Then they suddenly speed up.

The statistics for fatalities among this particular group are extremely low.

I think I'm detecting a bit of prejudice here, judging them by who they are and not what they do. You don't see any of "them" breaking laws all the time. In fact I would say they're safer drivers that most of you...I mean us.

This them and us should not stand!
This is the slippery slope towards hatred towards the vitally disabled, I will probably get called out as being PC here, but I agree with Reg Shoe;

I read somewhere that it costs the state something like 15 grand to process a bill into law. And they wonder why people think they are taxed too much...

So there's still a chance the dead will be allowed to drive?

Good.

You're better of dead, well before they pass this law that is.
I don't mind dying but I would like to keep on rollin.

on a more serious note, I guess some politicians have way but way to much free time on their hands when they come up with these kind of laws that serves no one really.

Where I live drivers licenses are not issued automatically. You have to apply in person, fill out a form and get your photo taken. Has to be done every three years. And it cost $90.00.

If the dead can accomplish those conditions...give them a license.

It would go a long way if they stopped hiring the dead to work in the DMV.

Same in Delaware. If you can't show up for a photo ..."No license for you!" But that's every 8 years.

No.

Context is everything. "May not" is not the same as "might not", though it is sometimes used that way by people who don't know better. If a rule says someone "may not" do something, it means they are not allowed to do that.
