Off the Azores Islands in October, 1939. Big propaganda coup for the Kriegsmarine.

It unfolded just like you might read in some accounts. After three hits from U-27 she was listing to port. While moving in to try and finish her, my crew watched a jet of flame shoot straight up....then a catastrophic explosion....then...

I hope the tiny pic links work. Really like this game and this could be a way to post a running report. Let's see.
