Is it just me or is the weather at this particular time the worst of all! I mean I always get the worst tonnage rate at this time. As soon as I get past mid October I do better again. Just wanted your guys thoughts on this.

I've noticed this as well.

So I am not crazy. I never really sea such terrible weather in other years! I mean of course you get terrible storms for awhile, but it seems that 1939 is the ultimate storm!

I think it's random.
I've played several careers back to back, with 1939 as the starting point. On at least 2 of those occasions, the weather was crystal clear and the seas were lake smooth. Like glass. Other times, raging hurricane with slashing rains and peaking waves, and generally, the kind of weather that makes you want to stay in port. I have had both conditions hang around for 10-15, almost 20 days at one time. I thought my game was broken and I'd never see the sun again, on one especially bad patrol...
