how can i use the RFB mod but have map contacts the same as in the original game? what do i use to mod that part of the game? anybody have any idea where might that particular instance of code i need to edit be? in what folder>file

It depends on what files were modified to delete map contacts. It may simply be overwriting the stock game settings in the map folder as a mini mod over RFB. I'll look into it.
