The Historic Naval Ships Association webpage has a couple of gems on their Resources page. Select the Submarine, and Torpedo Fire Control heading, and scroll down a bit. You will see a document called Submarine Information and Instruction Manual. It is a training manual for S-Boat sailors.
On the same site, there is a page called Booklet of General Plans; scroll down until you see SS-131. The plans of S-26 (an Electric Boat type S-Boat) are available as a PDF file. http://www.hnsa.org/ For photos of every sort of U.S. warship, see http://www.navsource.org/. Ron |
