-Started playing the game again a week ago...no problem.....disc in computer and just like the old days. Everything great.
-Now, when I click on the disc (in the computer "C" drive, I get the message from (I believe Microsoft) "Uplay Launcher has stopped working". -What is preventing me from playing the game? Thanks, Jim |

I had a similar problem with a different Ubisoft game recently.
What worked for me was to uninstall the Uplay program (I think it's called Ubisoft Game Launcher in the Control Panel). Delete any remaining Uplay launcher files. Reboot. Go to the Uplay website at Ubisoft and reinstall the program. One thing to make sure is that you know your Uplay login information. If you've already associated a Uplay account with your CD Key, you have to use the same account to play the game. Hope that helps. Mike |

Folks: I fixed my problem....fyi:
-I Goggled "Uplay Launcher has stopped working" and got many links; apparently this happens quite a bit. -Here is a link that told me how to fix the problem" http://www.honestcanadian.com/2014/0...opped-working/ -I would not have figured this out in 100 years! Best, Jim |
