Interisting history conection during a patrol
While patrolling off Freetown (Grid square ET29) in U-124 I encountered a 4 ship mini convoy with 2 Yanks, a Tommy and an Irish ship (its 4/41). I sing the british ocean liner and sneak away. About 2 hrs later I recive a radio message,
"From U-124, ET5321 Un-escorted tanker sunk, 1,716 tons" The real U-124 was operating in the grid square just to my south at the same time and sank a ship at around the same time.
