problem installing sh5 from disk

Hi Y'all, wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem; I have two Windows machines. One runs Windows7 32 bit, the other Windows7 64 bit ( which may not be relevant) I never have a problem installing games on the 32bit, but on the 64bit, some games (SH5 included) take an hour or more to finish the install (if I have the patience to wait that is). I get short bursts of disk activity then nothing at all for maybe twenty minutes or more. If I take the disk out I eventually get the message that the device is not ready. In the case of SH5 I have tried two different disks with the same result. Other games install just fine and with no delays, but a significant number do not. Any ideas what the problem might be please? PS both machines have ESET AV Thank ' ee kindly -Frustrated from Finchley
