Consider the following set of events:
- I am running SH3 Commander with auto-rollback ON. - I launch SH3 from SH3 Commander. Commander makes temporary changes to the contents of SH3 files. - SH3 suffers a CTD. After the CTD, does SH3 Commander receive control and auto-rollback the SH3 Commander files? Or are the files still modified with the temporary SH3 Commander edits? I know that, if I am not using auto-rollback and SH3 CTDs, Commander is not restarted. I have to restart Commander manually and then manually rollback to restore the SH3 files. If auto-rollback doesn't take place, then this seems to be way to get corrupted game files which could only be restored by a complete reinstall. I know that Jscones is no longer around to ask. Does anyone else know the answer to this one? I would like to use auto-rollback, but, because of this question, I don't trust it. |

If you are using auto-rollback, and suffer a CTD, when you go to restart through SH3 Commander you will notice the rollback arrow in the bottom bar in the middle. click on it to rollback the files because your game files will still have SH3 Commanders changes installed.

Actually had this happen a while back. Did not see the Rollback button when I relaunched Commander. But, at that point, I was prolly so frustrated that I just missed it! ![]() |
