While the petulant children of congress play their little games, I am glad that someone in the government is taking care of what needs taking care of.

Alright! They came back and fixed it! They're even better than I thought!

Why is it funny?

I didn't mean it as being comical, I guess I should have said"That's weird, it opens up fine for me"

Two good results...these buggers should realise there is no secure hiding place once their whereabouts are discovered.

When reading your post it seems like it was a great success

Well according to the Swedish news media it is the contrary

here are some of the headlines:

"America's dawn raid failed"
"Terror Group mocks U.S. - after fiasco"

It's about the raid in Somalia.

The Libyan operation was a success but the one in Somalia failed to achieve the expected outcome:

Quote:
Libya's prime minister has called on Washington to explain a special forces raid on its territory, one of two by US commandos in Africa on Saturday.
Ali Zeidan's office said he had asked for clarification and stressed Libya was "keen on prosecuting any Libyan citizen inside Libya".
The raid captured al-Qaeda leader, Anas al-Liby, whom the US says is "currently lawfully detained outside of Libya".
The other raid was in southern Somalia but failed to capture its target.

Too bad Tom Clancy missed it. Lets hope the $5 million for the Libyan goes toward the deficit. My question is: If the SEALs can snipe pirates at sea ( a la Tom Hanks) and land on the shores of Somalia how are there any pirates; we would seem to have it generally zeroed in. But it does give the pause to our backdown over Syria, seen as wobbling by our Arab allies and Middle Eastern fencesitters, that we ARE more than capable of striking at will. The Old Man of the Mountain (of the original assassins) would be green with envy. Saladin was one of his targets.
