Senator McCaskill tweeting that the building is in lockdown. Police advising people to stay away from the windows.

Wonder what's going on, and also what false information will come out.

Sure bet the media will start spouting AR-15 at the first opportunity. Although after the naval yard incident, maybe they won't be so quick to "jump the gun". Pun intended.

I'd buy tickets to watch. Hell, maybe they could broadcast it on Pay Per View. That would be sweet.

A duel requires the participants to be of an EQUAL footing and no rightist Republican would descend to that level with that leftist Democrat riffraff.

The contrast between CNN and Foxnews never ceases to be a source of amusement for me.

CNN: (Left wing)
Quote:
Breaking news:
Police are responding to reports of an active shooter situation on Capitol Hill.

Top Headline:
'THERE'S ONE WAY OUT'
That's my way, Obama tells GOP
Fox News: ( Ring wing )
Quote:
Breaking news:
US CAPITOL ON LOCKDOWN, GUNFIRE REPORTED

Top Headline:
Budget Battle, Partial shutdown raises the question...
Can we do without it?
Hud, Ed. Dept, IRS, Nasa

EDIT:

The republican politican would probably win. More practiced. Ring wing tends to exercise their second amendment rights a lot more then the left.

EDIT 2:
Surely I am not the only one who see's the very distinct difference in choice of words in both the breaking news and top headlines. Wordsmithing galore, that reeks of agenda from both. English and creative writing were always my best subjects in academia, so i tend to notice these things.

Headlines have changed, as have the stories.

BREAKING ...

The U.S. Capitol is in lockdown, after sources say shots were fired outside.

According to U.S. Capitol Police, officers are injured.

Sirens are going off in the Capitol, and people on the Hill are being told to "shelter in place."

Senior congressional staffers and one eyewitness told Fox News the incident began with a car chase, which came to a stop near the Capitol building. Sources said several police cars were in pursuit. When they boxed in the other vehicle, the driver got out and five or six shots were fired, sources said.

Witnesses saw a baby being taken from the car.

Police have locked House members in the chamber. The developments come as lawmakers were debating a series of small spending bills, amid the ongoing partial government shutdown.

The lockdown follows the mass shooting last month at the Washington Navy Yard.

Washington (CNN) - Emergency vehicles swarmed the area of the U.S. Capitol on Thursday after an order given over the speaker system told people to shelter in place because of an active shooting situation.

CNN Chief Congressional Correspondent Dana Bash reported that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said there was one person injured.

There are no SAS forces infiltrating Washington as a prelude to a British invasion, these rumours are preposterous....
