Reno Air Races

Hmm. I get paid Friday. It's a 6-7 hour drive. Motel room? I could sleep in the car. Am I too old for adventures like that? Probably. Besides, I'd be less interested in seeing the races themselves than in hanging out with another subsimmer.
I don't think I could survive it.

I only have a Saturday ticket this time and I expect to stay over Friday night. It's a four hour drive for me so I would leave Saturday evening. However, you have made me realize I need to check with Rick about what his schedule is and expectations are about the room booking. He's not inclined to get up early being a musician as well which is another cool point.

Okay, I just looked at the dates. I was thinking this weekend and wondering if I would be up for that. Now I see it's still three weeks away! I'm sure I can do that no problem.
I also looked at the ticket prices, and with the senior discount I'm also sure I can pay for half the room.

I booked a room at a Holiday Inn in Sparks for the 13th and 14th for three adults with two queen beds so we should be fine. Room total was $250.00. Looking forward to meeting you Steve.
