Default Is there a simple Mod to have 10 zoom in UZO and Periscope with Mouse Wheel?

Have looked everywhere for a Simple Mod that will change the UZO and Peri to 10x with mouse wheel instead of 6x

I am using The V16B1 Patch and the TTmini tweaker might be obsolete for this version, not crazy about having to incoporate lots of tweak files when I am only interested to permantly have the zoom 10 for mouse wheel.

I did come across a easy mod for zoom 10 but you have to use crtl + buttons and I am playing in the dark in evenings and do not want to have to fumble with keyboard.

I Know This change is in GWX Gold Right now bit for now I am trying to avoid GWX Gold because of older laptop and few other reasons.

Thanks for any info.

Also 10x must be as powerful as the game allows or can higher settings like 12x be used?

I searched this "It's fairly easy to do, but you have to do it with S3D" anyone have any directions to do this with S3D?

Thanks for any info.

MaGUI F and v3.4 go to 12x, although they aren't compatible with stock SH3 v1.4. OLC's GUI and Rubini's Widescreen GUI both go to 10x and both are compatible with stock SH3. Activate them with JSGME and you should be good to go.

I think you could try a GUI. At least MaGui F over in the mod workshop should suit your needs. The UZO in that GUI does not have a stadimeter, though. Anyways the thread about MaGui F also has one post where the maker of the mod MakMan tells how S3D can be used to change the magnifications.

Don't worry about the specs of your laptop either. Gui mods are not demanding, they don't usually add a lot of heavy stuff (like mods like GWX, LSH or MFM do), they just modify the way the old is working.
