Supplement to V16B1 (JSGME)
Stiebler3_Addon_for_V16B1
EngToGerNamesForMaGuiFGWX3

Every thing was and worked fine! Recently I had to format my drive and so I decided to go for Windows 7 and so I have it now (32bits OS) . I bought a new version of SH3 (already patched to 1.4 and no DVD) to minimize the risks of not being able to run the game in Win 7.
I installed the game in my second drive, on D:\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII!
The game runs fine after installation. I then installed GWX 3.0 and after runed the game. Also fine!
Then installed the SH3 commander and cfg files, every thing fine!
I installed my mods and have CTD. After that, I load each mod each time and load the game.

1 - fm_interiors 1.0 gives me CTD when enable with gwx 20 km mod and b25_conning tower. the last is just eye candy so, but I did like having the 20km FOV. This was resolve with the sh5 water 20km. It has 20km fov and fm_interiors 1.0 did not ctd with it!

2 - Fm_interiors 1.0 and MaGui F/MaGui 3.4 gives me CTD. I already discuss this with makman94 and hi could not find why. I did a clean installation, install GWX and then enable fm_interiors+Magui F+and the magui patch. Got CTD!!!

3 - Each mod enable single - Sh3GWX+fm_interiors or Sh3GWX+magui F work fine and do not give me CTD!

4 - I can not run the new version of fm_interiors. Version 2.1D gives me CTD when I enable it alone.

5 - Makman94 advice me to patch sh3.exe with the 4gb patch. I did it prior to the several mods tests.

6- every mod that give me trouble now I re-download it, just to prevent my copies of having some corrupt file.

7 - My screen is still a CRT, 17ichs and my resolution is the same of the game 1024x768!

I think I covered every detail of what I am doing the last days with the game. I ask for help to discover why I having this issues.
Is it something to do with Windows 7? or jsgme on this OS? Why the mods that worked fine with my previous OS are now give me conflicts and CTD?

Well, you might want to upgrade to Stiebler v4B, rather than v3. And if you are using both h.sie's and Stiebler's patches, DON'T activate any patches with HsieOptionSelector.exe. Patch your sh3.exe with h.sie's patches, then with Stiebler's patches, and then - and only then - activate all the patches with HsieOptionsSelector_V16A.exe (which comes with Stiebler's patcher).

The tests were not made with sh3.exe patches enable! I did not mention SH3.exe pacthes because they do not give me problems!

Strange,
Well I checked what is required to upgrade to Win7 and you look ok - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/w...m-requirements

I have Win7 64bit and used the jsgme to mod other games with no problems.

Can't understand why fm_interiors. Version 2.1D gives you a CTD when it's enable alone after following the good advice already given.
You could try checking that your zip software is unpacking the file correctly, I have found that some older versions of winzip unpack with file corruption, especially a 7z file.

Then I'd try installing and running fm_interiors. Version 2.1D without other mods and without SH3commander making sure it has done a rollback first. Reason to try this, is that Sh3Commander can change some files before starting SH3.

I looked at fm_interiors and it doesn't alter menu_1024_768.ini which should make things easy. The files most likely to conflict with other mods are Cameras.dat and Commands_en.cfg.

I doubt these suggestions will help your problem, but at least I've bumped your thread. Hope you solve it.

Sorry. They were on your mod list after FM_NewInteriors, so I thought they were activated.
