[TEC] Question about TC values.

Sh Commander destroyed my last career so i don't want to risk again using it.

But i need to change TC values to be more suited for my practical taste so i change values in Main.cfg but this don't work at all.

Where i can find correct file to change tc values and put them in to effect in game?
Also i like to change days spent in base after patrol.

Change the TC values in main.cfg in your savegame folder, too.
