SHO Hello fellow Subsimmers

Hello all,

Allow me to introduce myself. Weeasle's the name and weeasling in subs is my game (also known as Chris).

First hats off to Neal for a great BBS. I once ran a BBS in the early 90's so that term is fun to see resurrected from old modems onto the 'Net..

Also a big thank you to the modders. Its amazing to see that these talented people were able to take the diamond in the rough that is SH5 and polish-out the deep and engaging tactical simulation that lay underneath!

After a long hiatus from gaming (military sims was my thing), watching the nice Let's play on youtube by j2jonjeremy got me yearning to sub sim.. It brought back fond memories of sneaking around in Silent Service on my Commodore64 as a teenager. I wonder if any here remember that one? I also played a bit of SH3 a few years ago so I know how cool it is...

Anyways, thanks all and long live Subsim!!

Over-and-out,

Weeasle
