Sub pens question

Is there some way to remove the tower crane with the large cabin inside
the the stock sub pens? As far I can see from the pictures and drawings of the real things no such thing was fitted, quite logically as it would take up a significant amount of valuable space and the overhead crane would suffice. I know there are some mods that remake the sub pens but they are limited to specific base or such.

Use S3D to open the file you want to edit.
Say the La_Rochelle.dat for example.
It's in the data/terrain/locations folder.

Useing S3D delete the large crane entry.

You'll actually want to go to the Library folder and look for Harbor_kit. Then open those up and look for the crane in quesiton. If you want to delete all the cranes in the sub pens, that is. Use s3d to open the Harbor_kit .dat file.
