U-51 Second War Patrol
Hello again everybody, and stand by for latest War Diary from Josef Kotzow! Thankyou to everybody who read my last KTB, especially HW3 who helped out with a slight misunderstanding of the grid system, which is corrected here. Don't want to oversell this one, or overshadow the last one, but this was a helluva patrol! Apart from being fairly successful, I would venture to suggest it has all the makings of a(nother) Hollywood movie! I cross paths with HMS Nelson early on, only for it to get away - then we meet again for a showdown a month later by complete chance. The attack on 24 Nov was one of the most chaotic and destructive I've ever done. Not hugely successful but great experience, and good to get away in real time, full realism, DID etc. Very rewarding. I hope the retrospective write-up gives some measure of the utter chaos and confusion that prevailed! Enjoy  U-51 Second War Patrol
