What is the latest version of GWX that will work with Win 7?
The title says it all.
I have uninstalled SH3 and the older GWX and searched out all the hidden files to get rid of them. Lacking a " register clean program " as mentioned in one of the threads I used the Win 7 search function at the bottom left (under the list of programs) to ferret out all of SH3 and the older GWX. AS just returning to the game , a fellow should have the updated version of GWX. Thanks in advance for your help. SNAKE1937

I'd recommend CCLeaner (available from filehippo.com) to clean registry - the bits installed that Windows won't show.
Then I'd follow the link in Jimbuna's sig for GWX. Don't forget to get the config file for Commander if you're using it with GWX, also available from Jim's sig, I think.
