Ran out of fish before this

After being send to patrol the entrance of Tokyo- bay and the East China Sea I was send to Luzon Straight where I got this problem....

Left with 2 bow torpedoes and 2 aft torpedoes, my sonar man got a contact bearing 266, moving fast...
After checking the map and plotting a intercept course I came to the conclusion it wasn't worth the fuel to go and intercept when sonar went mental with multiple contacts ... and another contact long range, bearing 30.

With my 18Knts I was able to get within 6.5Nm of the reported convoy and got a glans of it.

She had:
_ 1 Kongo
_ 1 Fuso
_ 2 Maya Cruisers
_ 3 Mogamy Cruisers
_ 4 smaller Cruisers
_ 6 or 8 troop transports
And a lot of escorts



After identifying most of the vessels I wanted to report in but for some reason I couldn't (icon stayed broken).
I had to leave the TF to be able to intercept the second contact (which turned into 3 contacts during the chase of the TF) but with a very bad tast in my mouth .

Luckely I got something for all the trouble, the 3 contacts where 2 DD's and a lage Troop transport (second in the Merchant hand book).

I was able to put 2 torpedoes in her, 1 at 1/4 from aft and the second at 2/3 from bow which was enough to stop her dead in the water, evading the DD's for over 2hr I went back to the last position of the Tr.Transp. and found her almost under but not willing to go down, I crawled in postion 4000y out to fire my last 2 aft fish and high tail it out of there again before the DD's got wind of me again.
