Manual TDC not possible

Hello everyone

I have this problem playing SH3, I can't get the manual TDC working. Even if I check manual operation on the attack map (shortcut F6), I can't even choose the ship (checking the box in the ship guide is not possible). Instead, after putting the crosshair on a ship, the AI shows ship type, velocity and angle. That means, I can't manually edit the notepad entries. Am I doing something wrong? Why can't I change from assisted to manual targeting?

In the realism options you enable the "manual targeting system" option.

With "No Weapon Officer Assistance" you have to set everything by yourself. Otherwise he can still provide help on command.

Yes, the realism options did it, now I can aim at the target manually. Thank you!
