Met up with three Diecast Aviation Forum members (Concorde, boris and Squadron Wings) from the north east yesterday and visited Croft racing circuit for the Saturday of their Nostalgia Weekend.
Three top guys, very knowledgable and enthusiastic about collecting. The weather was excellent and it only rained once for about ten minutes...Concorde and I ended up with red faces due to the scorching weather LOL. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Was unaware of the arrival of the Spitfire (Concorde and I were munching through a bag of chips each as I recall) so only had the 55mm lens attached to the camera ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Some proper motors there, and nice to have a Spit flypast.

Well, the last six really got my attention. I would love to take a spin in one of those.
![]() ![]() Oh, and just for fun, based on what I know of sixties color schemes, I'll play the guessing game: 1. Cooper 2. Ferrari (certainly Italian) 3. Eagle? (colors are American anyway) 4. Matra? 5. Unquestionably Lotus (post-1967 Player Gold Leaf) 6. Brabham
