Problem with 3D screen

I have the Naval Combat Pack and I re-installed Fleet Command. I have Windows XP. Fleet Command runs, but for some reason the 3D window will turn Yellow-all yellow, 1/2 screen rest of 3D window is black. NO platforms visible, I can play but somewhat blind. Does any one have clue why this is happening?

I would really appreciate any help that you could give me,

I had to buy the steam version to get it to "install" on win7 64bit.
I have the patched installer for the cd but, couldn't get it to start. The steam version runs but, the intro vidoe is all blue.

I would like to install some of the addons that I have but right now I a little busy.
I wonder if "Fleet Command" would write an install routine for win7 64bit?
