He's back..The Dark Lord of the Sith.

Quote:
TRENTO, Italy (Reuters) - Germany and its central bank are unlikely to lead the way out of the euro zone debt crisis within three months time, after which it will be too late, U.S. billionaire George Soros said on Saturday.
Speaking at an economic conference in Trento, Italy, Soros said that the euro crisis - which he defined as a sovereign debt crisis and a banking crisis closely interlinked - threatened to destroy the European Union and plunge it into a lost decade like Latin America in the 1980s.
"A similar fate now awaits Europe. That is the responsibility that Germany and other creditor countries need to acknowledge. But there is no sign of this happening," Soros said.

Oh, poor Soros getting no bailout from German taxes for his private wealth losses. Nobody loves him, and everybody just misunderstands him. It is so sad.

No serious, I am totally unhappy to predict that Merkel sooner or later will give up and fall back, like she always does when the impression of harmony and consensus is getting scratches just for long enough. She has repeatedly allowed erosion of former "adamant" German policies, and has allowed eroding treaties and laws and pacts, if one had only confronted her for long enough over it. And she is one of the strongest forces behind efforts trying to kill the parliament'S right to interfere with the ESM. Finally, latest defeats in state elections have changed the innerpolitical landscape in germany, and her colaition partner is an unscrupulous diva spending stabs left and right. Her zenith is behind her, and her power basis is shrinking - in Europe as well as in Germany. 65% of Germans or so were find in a representative poll last week that they want the government to increase debts and spend more financial gifts on social issues.

Their wish will be heared.

Remember, we talk about Euro-fanatical politicians, and fanatics like this are die-hard fundamentalists. Ideology over reality, either the currency or war, and all that engraved-in-stone scripture stuff. Even when the country explodes into their faces they will still claim that their plan was right and all mthe others are to blame.

And if not Merkel, next year there are national elections, and by today's polls socialists and Greens would most likely form the next government. And they already have repeatedly announced that they are very eager to save the EU and the Euro by skyrocketing German debts and would love to bailout everybody asking for it.

So Soros will get his eurobonds and bailouts for every country and every bank, I am betting money on that. He will get his truckloads of increasingly worthless smoney, he will get his wanted higher inflation and the desired expropriation of ordinary private people, and he will get his wanted socialist transfer union form now to the total collapse of the EU.

Some months, maybe until after the next election.

Take me by my word. I know my Germans, believe me.
