movietex.act is a 16kb ACT file in the root folder of SH III.

If the file is missing, I would do the install over again just to be safe. You never know, there could other things messed up as well. Good luck.

I have had the same problem in the past. Just do a 'modify' installation that should put the missing file in. There should be a tick box labeled 'game files'. That is of course for the stock installation prior to adding any mod packages GWX or others.

I have had the same problem with a clean install. I have a new disk and have deleted all the old sh3 and commander files that I could locate and then ran the install. I am getting the message that the movietex.act file is causing the problem. I have tried the modify and repair box and neither seems to do the trick.

Any suggestions?
