Default Dead Boats

I have OHII and tons of other mods, but when I am coming in or out of harbors, especially home port, there are some boats that are stopped and just floating there. They seem dead in water, like they were going somewhere but stopped. I would assume this is a normal problem, is this so?

Yep, I've seen it too, particularly in the Kieler Kanal.

Last time out I ran into not one, but TWO fellow U-Boats just hanging out in the middle, going nowhere fast.

I figured they were probably on the homebound leg and wanted to make sure their Boats were polished, spit-shined and ready for the Karbolnüttschen

"Dead" boats in the kiel canal is nothing to worry about, the ship crew are taking a nap, rest for the night and is having a grill party on deck.

Yeah it seems like you have to watch out for them on your plotted course, A few times I ran into them.

Those navy nappers, I guess us U-boats have to do all the work.

Use Trevally's excellent harbor pilots package and you won't have to worry about a thing

Pilot will come on board, guide your boat all the way and even slow down when ships are nearby so you can decide if you need to take over the helm for a few seconds. The rest of the time you can just sit on the bridge, work on your tan and eat Brats!

As a matter of fact, use ALL of his scripts if you ask me

Some of the ships that have stopped in Kiel canal is due to OHII.
When adding the gates - I adjusted the nodes in the common layer so the the ships will use one gate for in and one for out.
I forgot to set speed limits for the gates and they are set a zero

V1.8 will fix this
