Taking to the seas again

After moving house a few times and some computer trouble, I now have a new room and a new laptop and this wintry weather makes me want to start up Silent Hunter again. So I go to the forum with the bestest, most friendliest and intelligentest people around. Mainly for some recommendations regarding Mods to download. I have an idea of what I want, but there might be some new goodies that I don't know of.

My main goal is as much realism as possible, except for micro-managing fatigue. (I usually turn crew fatigue off and just pretended that my crew behaved well enough to be in optimum condition for the parts that really mattered.) From the top off my head, this are the must-haves:

- GWX.
- SH3 Commander
- Thomson's sound pack. Or does GWX already have updated sounds?
- h.sie's fixes for SH3.exe sound really cool too.

Does anyone know if these mods are compatible with each other? I checked, but there don't seem to be any problems. Further, I want some mods to accomplish the following:

- A different look for the observation scope.
- A TDC in the attack scope view.
- Longer wakes, as I always felt the normal ones were too short.

Does anyone know of any non-conflicting mods for this kind of stuff? Or have some other recommendations? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
