I don't know much about modding, but I thought I'd mention this.
There are some environment and graphics mods that seem to work with a lot of games that were developed by a Russian guy, Boris, and they're available for free. http://enbdev.com/index_en.html Boris has done a list of games himself, but in other communities, modders have improved their games using the material Boris developed. Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 2 has just been done by Tom Weiss over at the Lock On Files website, for example. Mod wizards, is this anything that might work with SH4? Is it even needed? Cool project! Never seen this before.
I think SH4 has already got some of the same treatment by various environmental mods. It would be nice if more work was done on SH4's post-processing filters and shaders - rather than tweaking with them, many mods choose to simply ignore or disable them, but color-wise SH4 has been treated pretty good by environment mods. |
