I've been wondering where you've been!!
Good to hear you're well enough to get on the computer. Outside of going through each mission to change the weather conditions, I don't know of any other way. But really, I've never looked. I don't know about the mini-tweaker, but the "Silent 3ditor" (found HERE) pretty much has taken the "tweakers" place. It will work with the SH 1.4 version.

hey clay, glad to see your feeling better ![]() the mini tweaker is history and nobody makes tweaker files to use with it anymore anyway so try the s3d utility http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=119571 its takes a little getting used to and its not as easy to figure out the names of things but it is soo much easier to mod with it. |

The thing is, in SH4 it needs to be actually raining for the guys to don the foul weather gear. In SH3, if the wind speed reached a certain point, the crew would wear the gear, as well as if it rained of course. I forget where I heard it, but it may not be a "bug", since the bridges on Fleetboats were higher than that of the U Boats, and the crew may have been drier even in higher sea states. |

Another thing that may be overlooked is that there seems to be some kind of bug where if you save the game during a rain event and reload the save, the weather in the game still shows rain, but the weather report only states overcast, and no precip. The result is your crewmen are now standing on the bridge getting soaked. Even if you drag them below decks, and place them on the bridge again, a tactic that works in SH3, you'll still be out of luck. The game weather report says no precip, even though it's still raining cats and dogs
