Scapa flow

Hi peeps was thinking of embarking on a patroll this afternoon and a thought occured to me about a book i read regarding gunther prien ,his raid on scapa and sinking of HMS Royal Oak has always fascinated me i visited the area once to see the churchill barries and such.

Anyway to the point i was thinking to take a look inside scapa today while the war is still relativly young this will be my second patroll, my question or questions are.

1.Is the oak garunteed to be at anchorage, she didnt move much during the war except to help hunt the Gneisenau but her top speed of around 20 knots was inadequate to keep up with the rest of the fleet and she took heavy storm damage during this sortie also.The british only kept her in scapa after the rest of the fleet left for safer ports because her anti air capabilities offered scapa some def.

2.Has anyone else taken a peek inside scapa, is it heavely defended? i plan to enter through hoxa sound and head north to see if i can spot some booty.

3.If i do manage to sink the oak or any other battleship do i get some special recognition for it in radio message or perhaps a medal? Prien was the first kriegsmarine officer to recieve the Knights cross of the iron cross, or is it simply just anouther 30k tons sent to the bottom .

O sweet so this is a mission i can choose like the others ,im running OH2 so if i play on it`l come up?.

What if i go into scapa on my own before it happens will it spoil the campaign?

No - you can go there anytime.
The mission starts in September - so quite early in the campaign.
