AVI with low sound - need to edit.
I have an AVI file that has good video but the sound is very quiet, is there a freeware application that could edit the file to increase the sound volume?
![]() Would appreciate any help. ![]()

1. Get VirtualDub
2. Open the .AVI with it 3. Video->Direct Stream Copy 4. Audio->Full Processing Mode 5. Audio->Volume... adjust as needed 6. File-> Save as AVI... I think that should keep the codec and all that the same and just change the volume. ![]() |

Thanks Dowly, I'll give it a go!
![]() Edit: Done, worked a treat, I like how you can compare the new (1) with the original (0), both being at the same point in the video!
