I have seen some threads that explain how to add mods to Silent Hunter 5. I have this game buyed on Steam.

You guys know how this work ! please, help me with this

YEAH, I know I'm noob and can do this

-SirMartin

edit: I got Generic Mod enabler and have up it in the Silent Hunter 5 folder, and it have created a MODS folder. I have all my unpacked mods in there.

installing mods on steam has no difference from installing them on a CD version, except that you cannot patch .exe file with TDW patcher (Steam protects its Steam .exe, which is annoying).

The only thing that you will need to figure out is - where the actual game is located.
Generally speaking on Steam it will be located on C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\silent hunter 5\

... or close to the above.

That is where you copy the mod enabler, create the MODS folder and place the mods. After that you launch the enabler from and enable the mods! YAY!
