pennants help pease

I just need one last piece of help, how do i raise n lower pennants,have GWxgold
all modded up including the flags and pennants mod,just wanted to know if they only raise after a successfull patroll on returning to port ,any advice?

And a big thank you on my return to SH111GWX for all their help n advice-

once I get this last piece of help i intend to stop modding and head out to sea
