Anyone remember the Akula sim?

I figured this would probably be the best place to post this. Do any of you remember that Akula sim that was due to be released back in June of 1998 or 1999 (I don't remember which year, I think it was 1998)? I think the game's official name was Akula SSN. I was really looking forward to it. I remember checking the game's webpage frequently. When it was never released (that I know of), I was bummed. Does anyone remember the developer's company name? I remember it started with a C but that's about it.

I had completely forgotten about this thread.

I remember the mystery subsim thread. I still think it is a real shame Akula never got released. Seems like forever ago now.

I was happy, though, that Sub Command back in the day had the Akula. That more than made up for Akula: Red Hunter never seeing the light of day.
