Erratic screen visuals

I've just come back to DW after a loooong absence. I'm having display issues in that the intro video plays then there seems to be a sub overlayed on top of another sub in the middle of the screen.
Moving the mouse around and the menu flickers into view when moused over but selecting missions or campaigns and nothing happens, the game won't start.

I'm using the same rig I've always used but obviously I've missed something.

Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.80GHz
nVidia GeForce GTX 580
Win 7 64bit
16 Gig RAM

I hope you were able to resolve this issue.

I just downloaded DW from Steam and saw your post. I had the same issue. Turning OFF Anisotropic Filter and Antialasing in Nvidia control solved it for me.

Yeah, this game doesn't really like it when you force it to do stuff. It's never given me weird errors, but just never did anything with my forcings haha

If worse comes to worst, you may want to consider windowed mode with 16-bit color.
