Default 51 Hours Left to Live

I saw this thread on Facepunch and found it interesting, so now I'm sharing it. A man is going to commit suicide in 51 hours, well actually about 34 hours now, and he's online answering questions about his life, his disease, assisted suicide, and various other things, before he pulls the plug on himself.

The man, known as 'Lucidending' on Reddit is suffering from an incurable form of cancer and is in a lot of pain, and so he wants to just end his suffering now with dignity. He lives in Oregon, where it is legal to kill yourself under certain circumstances, and his doctor is setting things up so all he has to do is push a button and he'll be injected with drugs that will kill him.

I respect and think it should be legal for Dr. assisted suicide. Living with a severe nerve disease I've known several in later stages that take their lives, but it's considered the most painful disease known and actually called the suicide disease.

The fear for those I know that decide to die is how. Many fear they will end up brain dead, not dead or worse and unable to die, so they end up choosing the most brutal methods, most preferred seems to by a 12 gauge right at the heart. When we have many that are dying or simply can't get the medical care they need, they should at least be able to die with dignity.

I support his right to die as well.

Copy & paste part of the text to google (or other search engine) and start
digging around them results. See, Destiny likes attention (he has like 3 own
forums the last I checked), so he likes to spam these things all over, not hard
to track them down.

Well, I wouldn't have thought to do that. I rely on writing style to track down multi-accounters, but that takes a lot of time. You, Oberon and frau have got this down to a science that provides fast and irrefutable evidence. I'm glad we've got guys like you here.

Maybe, here's what's not funny..since Oregon has legal asst. suicide.

"Both Wagner and Stroup applied to the Oregon Health Plan, the state’s
Medicaid program for the medication their doctors had prescribed. Each
received an unexpected and stunning letter from the Oregon Health Plan
informing them that the state would not pay for their medication but would cover assisted suicide drugs. Why?
“The state can’t cover everything for everyone,” explained an Oregon Health Plan administrator.

Cost for the life-extending drugs? Approx. $4,000 month
Cost for a lethal dose? About $50 to $100 total"

Course those basic same drugs are are cheap in many other nations.
