Default Need help with external cameras please.

Hello, I am having a hard time with the external cameras. I have MO mod installed and nothing else. My main problem at this time is that when I use the little round icon at the top right of the UI I can switch between the external camera and 'normal' camera with ease. (the icon I'm talking about is the one that shows you if it's daytime, night time, sun rise, sun set, etc..)

That one is easy. It's when I use the buttons in the middle (top) of the screen that I have problems. One of them is next unit, previous unit, default fore camera, etc. < those buttons.

Whenever I use them, I have a very hard time getting back to the normal camera. (where it's me looking around the sub) The only way I can ever fix this is to teleport to another station. This seems to reset the view back to default. It is frustrating. What am I doing wrong?

Also, I realize this is a different subject but I am using the default Periscope. Ummm....I can't see a darn thing at night. Now I realize this is WWII sim and they didn't have fancy nightvision back then but is there a mod I can use to help me see better at night?

Hi,

if you want only high visibility on the scope then tdw uis has a scope filter where you can do that

see here how you can play with that

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3032

see the last 2 pictures from the page

if you want to increase the visibylity in the night all over the places than check my signature... it is a mod called Brighternights

i am working now at a mod to increase the vizibility from env colors (i try to have much visibility from the cfg from ENV - not from filters) but i am not sure if i will be capable to obtain a proper result

this mod will be only compatible with MO (if i will obtain what i want ofcource)

cheers

I tried the scope trick and I wasn't able to see any real difference. I'm assuming it has to do with the 'settings' you can input. But simply putting a check mark in the box did nothing. What settings do you suggest for nightime?
