Any graphic features locked without 1gb of mem?

Hi,

I've held out installing this game since i bought it (On release!), because of the issues and i was building my study....i've just ordered a new monitor and should be picking up one of the new G-cards from either ATI or Nvidia in a few weeks.

I currently have a 260GTX which has 895mb of Memory, and would like to install this game and get it patched / moded up ready for when my new hardware arrives, however....

Some games detect whether your G-card has 1GB of Mem or not and locks certain graphic features if you dont!, i dont want to load this game up, mod it etc, and find i've got to do the same all over again in a few weeks time when i get a 1GB+ G-card just to unlock "Ultra shadows" or something!

Can someone tell me if this is the case with SH5
