Optimistic about the future of my nation...for the first time in a while.

I have never been accused of being an optimist, at times I am a bit of a cynic to be honest.I prob have not been confident in the future of America since 2006 or so.The last two years(almost) under Barry O , Pelosi, and Reid have really put a damper on my outlook for this country, their dangerous agenda is just too much.

Now as we approach the most important mid term election prob of our lifetime, I feel some optimism.The Conservative movement known as the Tea Party has helped purge some of the RINO's and other useless Republicans from the GOP.We have a wave of real conservatives about to come to Congress.Things will not be easy, they will no doubt have to constantly battle with Barry O and his regime but at least there will be something that will put the brakes on his agenda, which gives me some hope that he won't have free reign as he has.

The thing that gives me the most optimism is people who seemingly never paid attention are now involved.Not the political types like myself but people who normally would not pay attention(how we got into this situation) are interested.The one good thing about Barry's election in 08, it woke a lot of people up, lit a fire, awoken a sleeping giant etc I have confidence that the new congress will be mostly different, will stop Barry and hopefully we can throw him out in 2012.Because the greatest danger is if he gets a second term, with nothing to lose, there is no telling what he will do.Barry shows some restraint now(little but some) because he knows he has to run for reelection, but if he got a second term, we will be up a certain creek without a paddle.

Bottom line, our best days are ahead of us, sometimes it takes being brought down a peg or two as we have to get back on top, we will.
