I wonder what the criteria was, because there's a lot more geniuses in history (or now) than 16.

I consider Fritz Haber a genius, he was the father of the Haber Bosch process, the product of which sustains more than 2 billion people worldwide

I agree with the list is far from complete, there is room for many more, but I guess they've set the limit pretty tight, otherwise we would have read all week out....
